When I attend a busy event, I like to take a few minutes to slow down and take it all in. Then, make a conscious effort to notice which direction I am pulled in and why.
Maybe there is a booth that looks professional and inviting to me. I examine the booth to figure out what it is that makes me feel that way. Is it the streamlined look with clear messaging? Or the fun product demo that I want to watch.
Then, I do the opposite. Are there areas I can feel myself avoiding? Maybe there’s a display that is cluttered and loud. Or a booth that is confusing, making me wonder what the product or service even is.
This simple activity helps me gain insight into what stands out from the crowd at events and inspires me to create a more engaging experience for my customers.

PURPOSEFUL PLANNING
A well thought out, purposefully planned booth or tent looks clean and professional. Use clear, cohesive branding on high-quality displays and materials. Design your space to include any or all of the following items:


VISUAL STORYTELLING
Go beyond your brand logo and colors. Use photos, infographics, and videos to visually tell your brand’s story. Help people understand who you are, what you do, who you help, and why you matter.


INTERACTIVE ELEMENTS
Adding interactive elements (like these RC excavators) gives people a reason to stop and spend time at your booth. Once you’ve grabbed their attention, there is an opportunity for engagement, which will make your brand memorable. Here are a few ideas of things to add:
